Pacou has lived in Berlin all his life and started collecting records in 1989 as the sounds of house and techno started to take off throughout the underground. In 1993 he bought the first production equipment. Three years on, he produced, and then released the first records under the name 'Agent Cooper' on the label Raw Music and 'Pacou' on the legendary Tresor Records. Soon after, Tresor's record label released Pacou's first LP, 'Symbolic Language', and he became a resident Dj at the club.

1998 marked a substantial milestone in both the Dj and production aspects of his work. He started playing records all over Europe, even playing as far as Japan and Australia, and started to work full time on his productions and performing as Dj with his first main release was the experimental techno LP 'No Computer Involved' on Tresor. In September 1998, Pacou founded his own label 'LL Records', for release of some of his own material and of that of his friends. 1999 saw more strong releases, including remixes for Ben Sims and Access 58 and continued travels around the globe.

March 2001 saw a promotional tour over Australia. New plans for 2003 included continued work on Music Man label series "Rio Sketches", and starting a new music / performance project with partner Angela Flame. In 2004 the Autofokus label started, and Tresor released another single 'Last Man Standing' So far Pacou played in more than 20 countries, and his story continues... spreading the good vibe around Europe and beyond.
